Migail de Klerk’s love song dedication to Morgan Wolf while they were both still in high school proved to be the start of something special.
“Our school was throwing a festival and Migail and his friend were the DJs,” Morgan, 22, explains.
“Later that night, Migail [now 26] dedicated a song to me over the loud speakers and asked for my number. It felt like a scene from a movie… we’ve been together ever since.”
The South African couple dated for seven years, often long distance as Morgan is originally from the US, before Migail popped the question at the top of a mountain overlooking the Cape Peninsula wine region.
They married in their Western Cape wedding surrounded by spectacular scenery on May 21, 2016 in front of 70 family and friends.
“It was a small rustic wedding in the winelands of Tulbagh, South Africa. We said “I do” in an old rustic chapel and danced the night away with our family and friends from all around the world. It was the best day of lives,” Morgan says.

Two days after the wedding, Morgan and Migail packed their bags and moved to Vietnam to do community development work.
“We are more in love than ever,” says Morgan.
“It was the most indescribable, beautiful day in the mountains and vineyards of South Africa,” describes the bride.
“Our friends designed a logo for our wedding and we had it imprinted on wooden coasters for our guests to take home as a favour,” describes Morgan.
