Fun-loving and easy-going pair Tegan and Mitch had one thing in mind when planning their rustic bohemian wedding.
“Both of us wanted a casual and fun wedding with lots of food, drinks, dancing and celebrating with our closest friends and family,” Tegan explains.
“We also did not want a sit-down style wedding so instead, we had a canape style with wood-fire pizza truck.”
Together with 65 guests, the couple solidified their commitment to one another on May 11, 2019, in an outdoor ceremony before dancing the night away under the stars. The guests were treated to not your traditional slow first dance but an impromptu Grease style dance-off by the newlyweds.
“We had two eagles circling above us during the entire ceremony and they took off as the ceremony wrapped up. It was so incredible and special!”

“We had a lady from the local market make a big macramé for our arbour which now hangs above our bed so it’s a special keepsake,” explains Tegan.
“Kirsty and Ben from Florin Lane Photography were so amazing. They were creative, fun and made us feel so comfortable around them!” praises the bride.
Mitch proposed on Christmas day with a picnic on the beach and he spelled out ‘Will you marry me’ in the sand with driftwood and candles.
The Italian Job Catering served up fresh wood-fire pizza and pasta. Delicious!
