Tegan Chinn and Justin Lee may have been a young 26 and 29 when they married, but that didn’t stop them from including a mobility scooter on their wedding day!
The rural New South Wales’ couple married at their classic wedding on November 12, 2016 in the presence of 100 guests. The Sebel in Hawkesbury Valley was the venue for both the ceremony and reception – in which the couple made a grand entrance. “We wanted our day to be memorable and so for our entrance to our reception there was only one way we could do that — by entering on a mobility scooter that had ‘Just married’ on it,” laughs Tegan.
A ceremony was lucky to happen at all, with Tegan explaining a storm that morning had threatened the location. “The grass was soaked, so we set up somewhere else then we got told the grass was dry, so last minute we moved the whole ceremony back,” she says.
The young parents were very excited to include their sons Hunter and Sullivan in their special day, surrounded by close family and friends. “Being a florist the flowers were something that had to be amazing and I believe they were,” explains the bride. “Our theme was black lace and the flower arrangements.”

“I loved my dress because it was different and had an antique look to it … I like to be a little different,” smiles the bride.
Despite a storm the morning of the wedding, the sun was shining when the ceremony kicked off. White Clover Music added to the atmosphere.
The floral arrangements were created by the bride and family members who are all florists.
Gracious Honey created the newlywed’s wedding cake made of eye-catching macaroons.
