Teen romance leads to Felicity and Sam’s rustic winery wedding in Perth

Felicity and Sam, both 29, met as teenagers working at Hungry Jacks.

“It was a case of forbidden love as my now husband was my boss at the time,” recalls Felicity. “We kept it a secret for as long as we could but after a while he was made to move to a different store and 11 years later we tied the knot.”

The bride describes her and Sam as very laid back, so they wanted their rustic winery wedding day to be the same vibe. “We chose a cocktail style for that reason. Our priority was definitely for our guests to be having fun and relaxing so the games and dancing were our must haves!” she says.

They married at Barrett Lane in Herne Hill, WA, which allowed them to have the ceremony and reception in the one location. “With the rustic garden style with everything in one place I just fell in love,” smiles Felicity.
