After meeting on a dating app, Taiba and Jared wasted no time in planning their future together. One year was all it took for the couple to become engaged and begin planning their romantic wedding, which only took three months to organise.
The Melbourne couple, aged 29 and 31, did all the planning and decorating themselves. “From buying the lights on the tables to making our own wedding canopy, we really did it all,” says the bride. “In only three months, we put together the most perfect wedding that we had both dreamed of. With all the stress and tears that it took to plan, we are so grateful for how well everything came together and the help we had in planning.”
As both have Jewish backgrounds, plenty of Jewish traditions featured throughout the celebrations held at The Glasshouse on March 17, 2019.
“There was so much laughter, dancing, juggling, jumping and everyone had an amazing time. Friends found my nephews on their shoulders and groomsmen found themselves hoisted onto strangers’ shoulders. We had Rabbis, children, young folk and old folk dancing together throughout the night.”

This bride had fourteen flower girls!
Taiba and Jared swiped right to love.
“It was a fantastic party, with a warm atmosphere complemented by beautiful flowers, candles and a romantic ambience,” says Taiba.
As Jewish tradition, family and friends celebrated the newlyweds by hoisting them on chairs.
