For Hannah Fullford and Matthew Rout – it was “love at first pedicure”.
Hannah, 23, was training to be beauty therapist when Matt, 27, was volunteered by his cousin – Hannah’s matching making boss – to be a practice model for treatments.
“For Matt, it was love at first pedicure, but he had to ask me out a few times until I agreed to a date,” laughs Hannah. “He picked me up in his Holden Commodore, met my mum, and we headed to dinner and a movie where he impressed me with his favourite movie snack – Maltesers and popcorn – together!”
The couple married at their classic wedding with 65 guests on April 1, 2017 at Hilliarys Yacht Club in Perth. “Being both Kalgoorlie born and bred, a venue on the beautiful blue waters of Hillarys, Perth was just what we had dreamed of,” explains Hannah. “The photo opportunities were second-to-none … with some of the crazy ideas for photos turning out to be some of our favourites.”
Hannah’s only piece of advice for other newlyweds-to-be is to “not forget the esky with the drinks for your bridal party photos!”

“Matt and I had five of our closest friends by our sides to help us ease the nervous and excitement in the morning,” says Hannah.
The couple only met their celebrant the same day of their wedding, but said it was a seamless ceremony.
Hannah made a ravishing bride in a figure-hugging mermaid wedding gown flaring out into ruffled tulle.
Some amazing shots were captured as the sun went down that afternoon — memories Hannah said the couple will treasure forever.
Raised in outback Australia, the couple loved their waterfront nuptials, commenting their “dream wedding” at Hillarys Yacht Club was “everything they had dreamed of.”
