Sometimes the love of your life can be right under your nose.
Sharon Millbourn, 28, met her beau Jeremiah Martin, 29, via an online dating site. Yet they quickly realised they only lived minutes from one another and had attended the same high school.
“They say it’s a small world and that’s true for our love story,” says Sharon.
The Mount Cotton couple married at their romantic wedding on February 4, 2017 surrounded by 62 loved ones. Both the ceremony and reception took place at Summergrove Estate in Carool, NSW which boasts breathtaking views.
“Unfortunately my dad wasn’t here to walk me down the aisle so I chose to have him and other lost loved ones on my bouquet to be with me during the wedding,” says Sharon.
The pair opted for summery pale pinks to create the romantic feel at the stunning venue, with touches or greenery, gold and lace.
“The day was more than we could have imagined,” smiles the bride.

Blush pinks and creams dominated the day’s theme, a soft complement to the venue’s stunning surrounds.
The estate boasts a gorgeous chapel for ceremonies overlooking the Tweed hinterland.
Sharon discovered her timeless Mia Solano wedding gown at Luv Bridal.
“Don’t stress over the planning – it goes too fast,” remarks Sharon.
Beautiful Weddings helped transform the reception space with modern touches including brass lanterns, fairy lights and lots of greenery.
