Sara and Frank’s romantic garden wedding was filled with the best things in life – love, laughter and food.
The Cairns couple wed at St Thomas’ Mareeba on September 30, 2017.
Sara, 31, Frank, 30, and their 150 guests then enjoyed a relaxed backyard celebration complete with an Italian feast and plenty of magical photos.
“The day was everything I could have asked for,” Sara says. “Lots of love, food and laughs.”
The couple remained true to their Tablelands location when it came to their wedding photographs, heading to a friend’s cane field for some loved-up snaps.
“We then went to another friend’s house who just so happens to keep it manicured and took some magical photos in her garden,” Sara says.
The bride says the day was the most amazing of their lives, featuring plenty of humour and a lot of love.
“And a spark in the air which i think was captured beautifully in the photos.”

“We started the day at 8am with hair and makeup, while the boys slept until 11am!” Sara says of the pre-wedding ritual.
Sara and Frank kept it traditional with a church ceremony for their Cairns wedding celebration.
Groom Frank looked suave in a velvet suit, while his groomsmen wore navy tuxedos from Roger David.
Interior designer Sara had plenty of ideas about styling her big day. She urges future brides to remain true to their personalities and have fun with planning their big day.
