The weather the day Jessica Shaw and Stefan Todoroski walked down the aisle was less than ideal – not that they noticed.
“There was torrential rain, strong winds and a hail storm,” Jessica, 29, says. “To us, this went unnoticed because the most important part of the day was standing side by side and committing to a lifetime of happiness together.”
The Perth couple, who first met after they graduated high school, held their Quarry Amphitheatre wedding at City Beach on October 1, 2016. The natural bush surrounds provided a country-chic quality to the celebrations.
One hundred and twenty friends and family watched on in the venue’s marquee as Jessica and Stefan, 28, made it official after seven years together. A reception followed at the same venue, which they chose in part for the impeccable food by Ultimo Catering.
“We had the best day of our lives at our wedding, surrounded by family and friends, good food, an amazing setting and the best dance floor anthems,” Jessica says.

The couple chose So Cal Limos for their Jaguar Mark 5 silver and black classic cars.
Makeup artist Barbara Mordini created an elegant and natural look for the bride.
Jessica’s long-sleeved wedding gown featured lace details and managed to cover the fact she was 14 weeks pregnant on the big day!
Guests received wedding favours from Jessica’s own range of nut butters. “I created a limited edition honey peanut butter especially for our wedding day and had special labels made up to match the wedding theme.
“Food was super important to us,” says Jessica. “We had a grazing board to start with… mains was banquet style.”
