Resort rendevous: Lauren and Andrew’s black tie wedding

Lauren Wilson and Andrew Molnar brought glamour to the great outdoors at their black tie wedding in lush resort surrounds.

The Sydney couple were joined by 145 family and friends (and a few kangaroos!) for their black tie celebrations on the grounds of Riverside Oaks Golf Resort in Cattai on May 14, 2016.

The heartfelt ceremony was held on the venue’s lawn with perfect sunny skies.

“The ceremony was everything I wanted plus more,” Lauren, 28, says.

“Everyone who attended and said it was the most emotional ceremony they had ever been to, you could see and feel the love between the two of us. As soon as we saw each other at either end of the aisle we both burst into happy tears.”

The reception was held at the resort’s Panoramic Room, taking in stunning views of the grounds, where Lauren and Andrew, 27, were the life of the party.

“The reception was elegant with everyone in their black tie suits and long gowns, the band had everyone off their seats onto the dance floor for a great night of dancing,” Lauren says.

“It was the perfect way to marry my best friend.”

Lauren sourced her classic strapless gown and her bridesmaids’ dresses from Brides of Beecroft.

Acoustic music set the scene for the couple’s romantic ceremony.

 

The couple met through mutual friends and Andrew popped the question about three years later while they were bushwalking in the Blue Mountains.

“There is nothing that we would change as it all went so perfectly, we only wish that the reception went longer as it felt like it went so quickly! We both joked with each other that we wished it could have gone for the whole weekend,” Lauren says.
