“In the Hunter Valley Gardens on August 22, Shell and Rich got married – the chapel was full, every pew,” the creative bride writes.
Shelley, 25, says 70 guests attended the chapel ceremony, set in the beautiful gardens.
She and Richard, 26, wrote their own vows and tied padlocks to balloons and let them go at the end of the ceremony to symbolise their everlasting love.
Following photos, the Forster, NSW pair were whisked away to Lindemans Winery to join their guests for the reception.
“It looked like a fairytale, a dream come true, it looked the part. A chandelier hung from the roof with draping and fairylights, flowers filled the room as candles lit up the night,” the budding poet writes.
Shelley says their wedding was two years in the planning and she was thrilled with the day.
“We worked hard on every little detail,” she says.
