Nicole, 26, had just completed three months of training in a new job when she was transferred to another office to fill in for a colleague.
It was there she met co-worker James, 32. “It was definitely meant to be from day one,” smiles Nicole. Three years later James was scheming a proposal. “He booked a weekend away to Palazzo Versace on the Gold Coast,” explains Nicole. “I didn’t think much of because James would do something romantic on the 14th of every month.”
But there, after dinner, Nicole was presented with a room full of candles, rose petals, romantic music and a proposal on a Versace post card. “I burst into tears, it was the best moment of my life,” she beams.
They married at their elegant wedding on April 22, 2017 with 140 guests at the Royal Automobile Club of Australia in Melbourne. A church ceremony took place beforehand. “It was the most wonderful day, everything went perfect,” smiles Nicole. “We were just so happy with our suppliers – they did an outstanding job.”

“I love how James takes care of me in everything we do,” says the bride.
The bride arrived in style with a vehicle from Always Classic Cars.
“Nicole has an amazing sense of humour,” beams James.
The bridesmaid’s gown from Kay Elizabeth was simple yet stylish.
