Nikolina and Mladen make magic at lavish Serbian wedding

It wasn’t hard for Sydneysiders Nikolina, 28, and her beau Mladen, 29, to choose Serbia as their wedding destination.

“A majority of Mladen’s family live in Serbia and over 150 guests from Australia were willing to make the travel,” explains the bride. So 300 guests joined the couple at their lavish Serbian wedding on July 16, 2017.

Nikolina can’t speak highly enough of Events by Nadia who created “the wedding of our dreams”. “Our guests where entertained with three days’ worth of entertainment,” explains the bride. “Imagine a fairy tale wedding from the early afternoon celebrations with a jazz band entertaining guest, to the breathtaking church, to an 11th century fortress for the reception.”

The highlight for this bride however was meeting her groom. “My favourite moment was walking up to the steps of the church and seeing Mladen waiting for me. At that moment knowing this is the best decision I could make.”

“It was a magical day in our eyes and we hope our guest enjoyed it as much as us,” smiles Nikolina.

The bride’s dress designer was the same who created her sister’s dress two years’ prior.

Belgrade in Serbia created the perfect historical backdrop for this couple’s lavish day.

The groom wore white to stand out from his crew!

“From the dress I dreamed of for months, to the location and the amazing planning, to all the guests and to my amazing husband, it is a day I won’t forget,” beams the bride.

“All the stress and work is worth it in the end, to create a beautiful wedding for our guest and to celebrate our commitment to each other,” says Nikolina.
