Seven years later, the couple aged 25 and 26 respectively, were engaged over dinner during a date at Melbourne’s Southbank. “I had an inkling Jake was going to propose because I kept receiving text messages from my dad asking how my dessert was,” explains Jenna. “I thought that this was a bit strange.” And Jenna’s instinct was bang-on, with Jake proposing with a ring and ‘Will you marry me?’ spelled out in chocolate on her dessert plate.
The Narre Warren couple married at their Yarra Valley wedding on March 13, 2016 with 95 guests. The rustic chic theme perfectly matched the Rochford Winery, boasting beautiful landscapes and reception room. Prior to the ceremony, Jenna and Jake had first-look photos taken, savouring that special moment away from the crowd.
