Morgan and Frank brought a touch of European glamour to their romantic whimsical wedding on Victoria’s Bellarine Peninsula.
Bride Morgan searched the country for a venue grand enough to bring her vision to life.
“I was originally looking for an Italian-style villa in Australia and couldn’t find a venue,” she says. “I searched luxury homes in Australia and Campbell Point House came up. I knew immediately this was my dream venue with its elegant design features and sheer grandeur.”
The couple envisioned a romantic and whimsical feel for their March 9, 2019 celebrations, filling the venue with full-bodied blooms including posies, roses, hydrangeas and orchids.
“I wanted to use dreamy colours of gold and blush and be surrounded by flowers,” Morgan says.
“We had a very intimate ceremony. We were surrounded by a towering hedge and we filled the space with overflowing blooms – it was very romantic. I surprised my husband by learning my vows in Italian.”
The reception was held inside the venue’s opulent dining hall, with big blooms and gold touches again setting the scene.

Morgan wore a pair of sparkly Jimmy Choo heels for her big day.
After first spotting her dream dress online, Morgan found it at a trunk show. “I loved the lace detail and the traditional feel of the veil,” she says. Accessories came courtesy of BHLDN.
“We met online. We soon realised we had a lot of mutual friends and Francesco had attended school with my sister. We also lived less than two kilometres from each other, and he still thinks we had met before as he remembers my eyes,” Morgan says.
Frank proposed with a helicopter ride to an island where he had organised an arbour with champagne and chocolates. “We walked over to the arbour and Francesco started shaking. I was caught by surprise and he got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife,” Morgan recalls.
“Surround yourself by a great team and follow your intuition,” Morgan advises future brides. “Don’t stress the little things, try and enjoy every moment.”
Mrs G’s Custom Cakes created the couple’s three-tier cake, decorated with gold and blush peony flowers.
