After a spectacular marriage proposal in the Alps, Michelle and Tommaso vowed to return to Tommaso’s home country, Italy, for their elegant wedding.
The pair, aged 29 and 32, solidified their commitment to one another in front of close family and friends at a traditional ceremony at Bergamo Cathedral, before taking to the cobblestone Italian streets for their wedding photos and the short trip to the newlyweds’ reception venue, Villa Canton.
The historic building, surrounded by manicured gardens and endless magical photography settings, set the scene for a real-life fairy tale wedding. At the reception, guests from across the globe were treated to live music, delicious cuisine and a three-tiered cake lined with fresh berries.
“Our wedding focused on food, music and loved ones,” says the groom. “It had a romantic and joyous atmosphere.”

Tommaso proposed to his bride on a trip back to Italy, where Michelle got to meet his family and friends for the first time.
Tommaso first connected with his bride online. “In the following weeks, after our first date, we both wanted to see more of each other, and from these moments we couldn’t imagine life without the other.”
The narrow cobblestone streets made for the perfect backdrop to their wedding photos.
