Dale’s romantic marriage proposal to Meagan set the tone for an intimate vintage boho wedding.
“Dale [29] proposed at my grandfather’s property in the Adelaide Hills,” explains the bride, 29. “it was a sunny afternoon by the dam, and he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him.”
The couple began planning their intimate wedding for October 7, 2017 with under 70 guests at The Winehouse in Langhorne Creek, SA.
“We wanted a very relaxed style wedding with a vintage/boho vibe,” says Meagan. “Our venue was amazing, we had a shared style menu which worked perfect and everybody commented on how delicious the food was.”
Meagan’s Grace Loves Lace gown fit the setting perfectly. “It was so important to me to have a dress that I felt comfortable wearing all day,” she praises.
The bride and groom also hired a dog sitter so their two pups could attend! “We also had our furbabies make an appearance on our special day, which was so gorgeous!”

The dashing groom was dressed by Peter Shearer Menswear and Suit Hire.
The couple hired a pet-sitting service so they could include their pups in the day.
Meagan’s hair was done by a family hairdresser who travelled especially for the day.
“My beautiful mum did our flowers, they were absolutely amazing,” praises the bride.
“The ‘last light’ photos are definitely my favourite from the day,” says the bride.
