Alisha Moss and Matthew Kernich may never have met if it wasn’t for their two conspiring mothers!
The pair, aged 28 and 30 respectively, were introduced in Melbourne. “I worked part-time at a chemist, but little did I know at the time that my mother and Matt’s step-mother worked together and were conspiring to get us together,” smiles the bride.
After a not-so-subtle introduction at Alisha’s pharmacy, some phone-number swapping and Facebook stalking, the two met up for a date over a “casual bowl of wedges,” explains Alisha. Two years later they made the move from Melbourne to Perth.
Their elegant beach wedding was celebrated on March 5, 2016 with 120 guests at Coogee Beach Surf Club. The lifesaving club south of Fremantle boasts stunning ocean views. “We had friends and family come from all over Australia to share our day and it was full of laughs,” smiles Alisha. “It was simple but yet so magical.”
