When your first date involves drinks at the back of a boat and flashy ski moves, you’re more or less guaranteed a lifetime of adventure.
The loved-up couple Rebecca and Matthew, aged 28 and 33, crosses the ditch yearly to ski on the snowy mountains of New Zealand and it was on one of those trips that Matthew proposed.
“It involves a surprise helicopter ride masked as a free ride to ‘check the snow’. The penny didn’t drop until Matt’s knee did,” recalls Rebecca with a smile.
When it came to planning for their wedding, the pair wanted the day to be a reflection of their adventurous and party-loving selves and to have their nearest and dearest present.

“Our wedding focused on what was true to us. Our intimate guest list provided us with the ability to spoil our friends and family with an epic flyover, endless nibbles and drinks, as well as, one-on-one time with the newlyweds.”

“Our beautiful florist Bloom & Blush captured our vision and exceeded all expectations with stunning bouquets and styling throughout both venues,” praises Rebecca.
The groom and groomsmen look dashing in their classic Daniel Hechter suits.
The pair was wedded by the TV personality Mike Larkan who ‘provided the buzz and weather forecast’.
“We surprised our guests with an epic three plane formation flyover whilst drinks and canapés were flowing.”
The newlyweds booked their honeymoon package through Flight Centre.
The Epicurean Red Hill provided the perfect intimate setting for the cocktail party that followed the ceremony.
Melbourne Entertainement Co heated up the dance floor with live saxophone and the guests danced well into the night.
