Let’s do it again!’ Lisa and James celebrate elegant formal wedding

“I honestly would love to get married again, it was that much fun,” says bride Lisa, clarifying it would of course be to the same man!

The 29-year-old married her beau James, 31, on June 20, 2018 with 115 guests in Kew, Victoria. A ceremony at Carmelite Monastery was followed by a reception at Quat Quatta.

“We loved the fact Quat Quatta felt warm and inviting,” smiles Lisa of their elegant formal wedding “The best part was it wasn’t an empty room which you would have to spend lots of money on filling, instead it was an interesting space with so many features and character.”

Lisa’s family parish priest married the pair. “Fr Bill provided a personal touch to our ceremony as he has known me and my family for many years,” smiles Lisa.

The bride paid special attention to making her bridesmaids feel comfortable on the day. “It was important for me to find a dress that suited and flattered the differing body shapes of all my bridesmaids,” she explains. “I also wanted something that provided more coverage seeing as we were having a winter wedding.”

“We were also very lucky that the day ran smoothly and I think this has to do with being so organised,” smiles the bride.
