Lauren and Vince describe their romantic historic wedding as a celebration of love with a modern twist.
After securing beautiful Gothic church, St Mary’s, for their ceremony, the Melbourne pair found their dream reception venue in Quat Quatta: a Victorian-era mansion renowned for its sweeping staircases, hand-painted windows and Fairy Tale charm.
The entire planning process took two years, with the 25-year-old couple pulling out the stops to ensure their wedding was exactly the springtime celebration surrounded by greenery they first envisioned. “We were able to work towards that garden feel we were after by ensuring there were copious amounts of white roses and foliage to surround us and our guests on our big day.”
Greek, Italian and Maltese traditions also featured throughout the night, including an abundance of food, drink and dancing.
“Boy, were we happy with the final result!” says the bride.
