Practiced performers Jessica Shields and Tim Wilks made sure the entrance to their circus wedding celebration was one to remember.
Like Tarzan and Jane, the Brisbane duo flew into their reception via a flying fox and entertained with an elaborate first dance. The circus-themed performances continued with a juggler, silks performer and even a surprise flash-mob organised by the couple’s mothers.
Jessica, 27, and Tim, 26, married earlier in the day at Clear Mountain Lodge in Queensland on January 23, 2015 in front of 80 guests.
The party really got started at Flipside Circus, where former circus performer Tim and dancer Jessica were in their element.
“It’s crazy how far you can take a DIY wedding and personalise it to be precious to you and your partner,” Tim says.
“It was an absolute blur until the moment I woke up to see this beautiful woman who now shares my name.”
