After an incredibly romantic proposal in Bali, bride Jessica threw herself into planning her and Daniel’s wedding.
“First and foremost we just wanted to have the best time and our vibe to be really chilled. We wanted the day to be an epic party,” says the bride.
Jess and Dan, aged 28 and 32, achieved the moody romantic wedding they always envisioned on April 4, 2019. The day began with a garden ceremony at Kings Park and ended with a reception at Chapel Farm in Perth’s Swan Valley. Mostly family attended, with an exception of a handful of very close friends to the couple.
Despite having a wedding stylist look after styling elements, the romantic affair included plenty of quirky personal touches throughout. “We had a DIY photo wall with polaroids, cute class jars for bomboniere with custom-made candy in them, homemade salted caramel macarons (our favourite), homemade chocolate chip and lemon curd cupcakes and a delicious caramel mud cake with espresso butter.
“It was simply epic!” recalls Jess. “The styling, the look, the way the whole day went smoothly without a hitch… It was the absolute best fun. We experienced love we never had before.”

Jess purchased her flattering strapless gown from Luv Bridal & Formal.
“We met at my best friends wedding… Well a little before that, but her wedding really kicked it off. We both dressed up and were looking smoking hot,” Jess laughs.
Lavish Limousines Perth provided the couple’s official wedding day transport.
Daniel and his groomsmen perfectly complemented the moody romantic theme with charcoal suits and burgundy ties.
Wearing a white faux-fur shawl, Jess kept cosy against the early autumn chill.
