Jenna’s organisational skills mixed with Anthony’s “go with the flow” attitude helped to create smooth wedding planning.
The pair married at their elegant Sydney wedding on January 6, 2017 with 130 guests at a church ceremony. “We wanted to keep it traditional staying true to our Catholic upbringing by having our ceremony at St Mary’s Cathedral,” explains the bride. “Given our age and our taste, we wanted to have a modern reception, which we did at Sergeants’ Mess in Mosman, NSW.”
Jenna says she was so grateful for Anthony’s decisiveness when it came to wedding planning. “I would pick a range of options after much investigating and Anthony would have the final decision as he could narrow down the selection to one,” she smiles. “I appreciated having someone there to make a final decision for me.”
The couple invested in the styling of the day, mainly their beautiful floral arrangements. “We kept to a budget, although we did spend some money on more luxurious aspects for our guests to enjoy,” comments Jenna.
For bomboniere, guests were given purple arm bands to wear – representing a donation on their behalf to the Leukaemia Foundation.
The couple, who have been together for almost a decade, say that marriage hasn’t changed them too much. “Although – we now get to wear wedding rings and call each other husband and wife – which is really special.”

Jenna’s smoky make-up look created a romantic look with her curls.
Anthony and his trusty wedding crew were dressed in three-piece suits by Ferrari Formalwear & Bridal.
HF Wedding & Hire Cars provided white Mercedes for the day.
The modern-traditional theme carried through to the girls; Jenna in a traditional white wedding gown and veil (which she designed herself) and her maids in modern ivory dresses, each carrying classic white-rose bouquets.
Jenna’s advice is “don’t shop around too much. Once you see something you like, go with it. I confused myself by looking around too much – it made the process a lot harder than it had to be!”
“Our wedding was unique – yet traditional at the same time!”
