For a girl who had never imagined being a bride, Jehanna’s classic wedding to Shehan was still like a dream come true.
“Even though I was never the little girl who dreamed of her wedding – our day was everything I could have wanted it to be,” Jehanna, 29, says.
Shehan, 28, had proposed just after sunrise when the couple was in Cambodia in 2016.
“It was the most perfect proposal, which was then followed by the smoothest wedding planning process and the most magical day,” Jehanna says.
The Melbourne couple held their classic wedding at Linley Estate in Kilsyth on September 17, 2017 in front of 122 friends and family.
Despite predicted rain, Jehanna says the day was perfect.
“It was truly the most spectacular day,” she says.
“Sunshine, nothing went wrong and we just had the best time surrounded by friends, family and so much love.”

The couple were wed by experienced Melbourne celebrant Linda Hamill.
Jehanna has some good advice for future brides: “Make sure you take in every single moment because it really does go so fast. Let everything happen and don’t stress on the day, it will be how it is meant to,” she says.
Jehanna wore a gorgeous long sleeve lace gown with flowing train from Mia Solano @ Luv Bridal & Formal.
The couple was happy to hand over the decorating reins to the team at the venue, who created an elegant setting with a neutral palette and splashes of blue.
Jehanna and her friends had a quick costume change to perform at the reception a surprise Bollywood dance choreographed by a friend. Evening entertainment was also catered for by Mecury DJ Hire.
