Jasmina Stojanovic and Michael Partalovski got to know each other from opposite corners of the globe.
Jasmina, 29, lived in Macedonia and Michael, 33, in Geelong, Victoria, when they began chatting online after being introduced by family friends.
“After chatting for a few months I had decided to pack my bags and head to Australia to study accounting, explore a new country and meet my new friend Michael,” Jasmina says.
“It was love at first sight! I liked everything about him, absolutely everything.”
After getting to know each other, Michael popped the question and, after a resounding ‘yes’, the couple began planning their classic wedding.
They walked down the aisle at St John the Baptist Macedonian Orthodox Church on October 1, 2016 in a traditional ceremony, before the celebrations continued at Capri Receptions in North Geelong.
“Everything was as we imagined. The evening was very cheerful, all the guests seemed happy but above all he and I were so in love and happy that day,” Jasmina says.
