Contiki tour romance … it’s not just for the holiday!
Cheyenne Rye-Houghton, 25, and Brodie Guest, 26, met while travelling Europe. “From the moment we met we were inseparable,” smiles the bride. “We spent the next month on tour gallivanting around Europe and having the time of our lives bonding over our love of Garth Brooks, sport and picking on each other.”
Cheyenne says she expected the affair would end when the holiday did, but a long-distance relationship began and within the year they were living together.
The couple wed with a modern vintage wedding on April 11, 2015. The bride looked stunning in her blush-pink mermaid-style gown by Q’nique. It was matched with a long blush-pink beaded veil.
Their ceremony at St Mary’s Church in Warner’s Bay, NSW was followed by a reception at Bella Vista in Mayfield. Cheyenne says the church was that of her family and the reception venue was “a classic property that fit us perfectly.”
The bride praised her photographer Caitlin for taking on various roles for the day. “Our photographer I swear doubled as our wedding planner on the day, all while pregnant,” smiles Cheyenne. “I snuck her chocolates all night.”
The newlyweds honeymooned in Te Manava Villas, Cook Islands.

The bride found her crew’s dresses from Dessy.
Cheyenne says her wedding day was the “best day of our lives”.
