For their March 3, 2023, wedding Gab and Symon were looking for a classic and luxurious venue that reflected their personal style. The Trust was a dream fit for the couple who celebrated their wedding with 149 lucky guests.
“Gab and Symon first came to us seeking a stress-free experience, where a planner could take the reins and create a dreamy day,” explains Sarah of Nudo. “Instantly, we knew The Trust was a perfect fit for their day.”
Babies’ breath plinths served as a romantic backdrop for the wedding ceremony, which was held at Melbourne’s beautiful Fitzroy Gardens. Symon, of the TV hit Gogglebox, wore a tuxedo for the occasion in keeping with the classic aesthetic of the day. Gab opted for a romantic gown with a voluminous train, low back, and bow detailing.
After being declared wed, Symon and Gab enjoyed oysters and beverages with their guests in the tranquil surrounds of the gardens. The couple soon slipped away with Art of Grace photography for wedding day portraiture in some of the Melbourne CBD’s most iconic and picturesque locations. At dusk, The Trust welcomed Gab and Symon back to the celebration in luxurious style.
The Grand Hall was set with elegant, long table seating, leaving the rest of the venue free to be used for the dancefloor and bar space. Refresh Catering provided the food and beverage offering which was designed to make each guest feel thoroughly taken care of and satiated. The wedding celebration was seamlessly planned with a team of premium vendors assembled by The Goodsmiths event planners.
After the reception, the bride and groom declared that they wouldn’t change a thing about their day, with The Trust earning rave reviews. With its heritage status, iconic architectural detailing, and Manhatten style finishings, it’s not hard to see why The Trust made a perfect backdrop for Gab and Symon’s celebration.
What a time! It truly was the perfect recreation of our dreams. We’ve had so many people say that they felt cared for and that was the goal. The oysters and drinks on arrival were a massive hit, as was the bus ride. The Trust was breathtaking! That first view of the seated area was actually quite emotional. It was exactly as we’d hoped, but better. Thank you to The Goodsmiths, for being so attentive throughout it all. We can’t thank you enough for being a solid and stable support the entire time!
