From the first time Theodora and Andrew met, the connection was undeniable.
Their relationship quickly progressed from friendship to love – filled with laughter and fur-babies. Their Corgi named Space assisted in their proposal.
“It was a scavenger hunt that ended in a picnic at our favourite park,” recalls the bride.
It was important to the Sydney couple that their wedding reflected their style, which was relaxed, quirky, fun and full of dogs!
The pair, aged 31 and 33, hosted their rustic barn wedding at Bendooley Estate on April 7, 2019. The autumn wedding began with Gate Crash games which are a series of challenges set for the groom and the groomsmen to complete to prove their love.
The creative souls incorporated as much personalization into the wedding as possible – with Andrew designing their wedding invitations, placemarks, signboards and a fingerprint tree.
On the other hand, Theodora, who runs a marketing agency, found her wedding suppliers from those she has worked with before or is a personal friend.
“It was important to both of us to work with people we loved and have them be a part of our wedding day,” explains the bride.
Theodora and Andrew chose the Bendooly Estate for their rustic barn wedding on April 7, 2019.
“Our wedding was so unusual with the Gate Crash games, tea ceremony, corgis and a dance-off!” explains the bride.
“It was a day full of fun, family, friends and fur – we loved every single moment!”
