Wine lovers Tegan and Darryl made an obvious venue choice for their luxury wedding in Perth.
The couple, aged 34 and 35 respectively, married at Riverbank Estate in Swan Valley. “It was nice and close to the city while still feeling like an exotic location,” recalls the bride. She describes the styling on the day as “moody romantic”. “We wanted lashings of black, gold, emerald green, burgundy and blush — but softened with beautiful textures and luxurious details.”
“Our wedding was a mixture of fun and romance and overall love,” smiles Tegan. Highlights for the couple included acoustic music all night by the musician who played the day the couple met, and an exceptionally heartfelt haka performed by some of their closest friends. “It was a complete surprise!” recalls Tegan.
“We had many friends and family make the trip to Perth from all over the world for our wedding, so the week was a beautiful extravaganza of catch-ups, barbecues, laughter and memories we will treasure forever,” beams the bride.

The groom had five groomsmen by his side.
The bride wore a train and veil on the day.
After falling madly in love and bonding over their shared love of food, dogs and sport (and a shared hatred of camping), Darryl proposed to Tegan in his home town in Wales.
“Our wedding was an explosion of laughter, fun and incredible memories,” says Tegan.
