When Andrew Lee met Andrea Kemert he worried their age difference would keep them apart.
“He lied about his age to me for the first month!” Andrea explains. “Being four years younger he was worried I wouldn’t ‘date’ him and decided to play it cool until I met his parents.”
Three years later the age difference between Andrea, 29, and Andy, 25, means nothing and the Perth pair have travelled together, bought a house and begun their own business before Andrew proposed with the help of a hot air balloon on a surprise weekend away.
Andrea had a modern black-and-white theme for their Swan Valley wedding on November 15, 2014. Seventy friends and family attended the celebrations at Sittella Winery, which also hosted the reception.
The bride took the leading role in getting the look she was after. “I didn’t use any vendors or suppliers for decorating my wedding reception – the entire place was a DIY project,” she says.
Professional magician Robbie T and Sketch My Event’s Rick Adams ensured there was never a dull moment.
