One Daylesford wedding venue. Four stunning looks. This wedding styled shoot by Wild Heart Events showcases the versatility of debut wedding venue, Butlers Lane Vineyard.
“When I first came across this gorgeous new venue, I was excited by the scope and potential for so many different styling options,” says Creative Director, Danielle, of Dandenong Ranges styling company, Wild Heart Events.
“My intention for the shoot was to really illustrate how diverse the venue could be, by styling it in four different on-trend themes and colourways.”
Collaborating with a slew of talented wedding suppliers including Blackbird Cakes and Fairytales Bridal Boutique, the shoot became an inspired mood board for modern couples: Boho Luxe, Modern Classic, Moody Romantic and Boho.
Butlers Lane Vineyard is just an hour’s drive from Melbourne, located in the picturesque Daylesford locale of Glenlyon. Sitting on 40 stunning acres with lush greenery in every direction, the private estate boasts its own lake, indoor function space, covered terrace, and a gazebo for garden ceremonies. For wedding receptions, the venue caters to 200 outdoors, and 80 indoors.
“At Wild Heart Events, we thrive on turning blank-canvas spaces and venues into something amazing,” says Danielle. “We love to work collaboratively with our clients, to create unique and personal events that are long remembered for all the right reasons.”

WEDDING STYLE #2: MODERN CLASSIC
“This theme and tablescape were designed for the couple who prefer to embrace a more modern classic style. It features a pretty pink and white colour palette paired with gold and fresh florals, with pops of black in the mix to really modernise things.
A customised black and white acrylic sign welcomes guests, with matching table menus and a fully coordinated suite of stationery.”
WEDDING STYLE #3: MOODY ROMANTIC
“This theme and tablescape were designed for the couple who love a more romantic and vintage style, with decadent tones of deep green, burgundy and silver/grey.
Our beautiful bride wore a gorgeous Essence of Australia gown and, on her head, a delicate silver art-deco inspired ‘Zoe’ crown by Stephanie Browne. She carried a rambling bouquet of richly toned and textured fresh florals, including roses, white peonies, elderflower, dahlias, smoke bush and copper beech leaves.”
WEDDING STYLE #4: BOHO
“This theme and tablescape were designed for couples who want to embrace the true Boho vibe, with dried florals, vintage amber glassware and beautiful earthy tones.
The table was styled with a heavily textured mocha-toned linen cloth and napkins, featuring an embroidered botanical design, held by leather napkin rings.”
