As well as celebrating their love, Felicia and Vincenzo’s romantic wedding showcased the beauty of the city they call home.
The Sydneysiders, both 28, first met at a barbecue when they were 15 and reconnected six years later.
The bride says after Vince proposed on the steps of the Opera House, they were too excited to wait and planned their romantic wedding in nine months.
The couple’s traditional ceremony was held on May 19, 2018 at St Joan of Arc Church in Haberfield, before the reception at the elegant Doltone House.
“It was the perfect location to showcase the beautiful city we live in,” Felicia says.
Food, family and beautiful flowers were the priorities when it came to the evening celebrations.
“We wanted our wedding to reflect who we are as a couple.”
“Food was extremely important to us. Both our parents work in the food industry. As soon as they saw the sample menu they were sold.” The food was also an opportunity to showcase parts of their Maltese and Italian backgrounds.
“The whole night was filled with dancing, laughing, eating and love. The first time we saw our reception room I was in absolute awe and shock! Our vision had come to life.”
