Caesar Win and Simon Vutich’s romantic wedding was dreamt up long before September 9, 2016.
As a little girl, Sydney bride Caesar had thought of her wedding day, and the extra planning surely paid off. “Growing up, you have a picture in your head about what your wedding will be like,” says the bride, 28. “Our day was exactly how I imagined it – a perfect sunny day, surrounded by family and friends who came to celebrate our love.”
But it wasn’t just the big picture Caesar had daydreamed about – her plans even extended to the bomboniere! “When I was 12, I went to The Rocks with my family and watched hard candy being made. I knew then and there that’s what I wanted for my wedding. It was only right that I come back to the same shop [candy artisans, Sticky] to get my customised lollies.”
The pair first met at work and grew closer over a ritual of knock-off drinks. “Our love for each other is evident through our similar calm personalities and our love for trying new things,” Caesar says of Simon, 33. They married on September 9, 2016 with 170 guests at a ceremony in St Thomas Anglican Church, North Sydney. Celebrations continued at Luna Park’s Crystal Ballroom.
The bride is a huge fan of Cinderella, so made sure she had sparkly shoes to go with her gown from Brides of Beecroft. But not used to wearing heels, she needed a second pair of shoes. “I opted for a pair of Adidas Superstars which were all white,” smiles Caesar. “This was covered by my dress and allowed me to dance the whole night away. I recommend this to all brides!”

“I immediately knew I’d find my dress here,” praises Caesar of Sydney wedding dress retailer, Brides of Beecroft. “They made us feel very welcome.”
Caesar credits M1 Limousines as a “very professional team who made our travel run smoothly.”
“Coming from different backgrounds, we encourage each other to try new things and embrace different cultures,” the brides says of their relationship.
“The staff at Luna Park were amazing,” smiles Caesar.
