Brittany and Daniel had their guests top of mind when planning their rustic vineyard wedding.
The couple, both aged 27, married at Summergrove Estate on February 10, 2018 with 80 guests. “I wanted our reception to be romantic, but fun. So I ensured our guests had plenty to do whilst we got our photos taken. We had a photobooth, lawn games and tables and chairs overlooking the breathtaking views,” explains the bride.
Guests were even provided thongs to change into for the dance floor action! “I think a lot of couples forget to entertain their guests correctly, and that was one thing I was really conscious of. I wanted them to have fun.”
The couple’s ceremony in the chapel overlooking the Gold Coast and reception outdoors was blessed with “best weather we could ask for,” says Brittany. And 17 months to plan meant the bride had every other element well and truly under control! “There was definitely no detail unthought of, it was magic.”
In reality she had had even longer to plan – with Daniel stating three weeks into their dating life he would marry her one day!

Brittany’s look was romance from head to toe – with soft curls, lace and pastel blooms.
Daniel and his crew suited up in fitted navy suits from Politix with classic bow ties.
The bride and groom purchased their rings from Xennox Diamonds.
First Class Pet Wedding Assistants brought the couple’s pet pooch to the ceremony to be included in some wedding photos.
The couple’s Kombi van transport made for a great photo prop.
Brittany recalls, “It was September 2016 when we climbed Mount Warning one morning, the first place to be touched by the sun in Australia. At the top Daniel got down on one knee and proposed, it was beyond romantic!”
Figtree Wedding Photography captured stunning photos of the day.
“The venue really set the scene for the whole day, the weather was beautiful and it made our dinner under the stars just magic,” recalls Brittany.
Let Them Eat Cake created a drip masterpiece in white chocolate mud flavour with salted caramel drizzle.
