Bianca, 22, had always dreamed of a traditional wedding, and she got just that when marrying beau Nathan, also 22.
They married at their elegant wedding on November 17, 2018 with a ceremony at The Old St Thomas Chapel in Sydney. “The chapel is known for its original stained glass windows and pews from 1884,” explains the bride. “It has also become a little family tradition as we were the last of four siblings to marry in this chapel.”
Bianca was extremely nervous about making her vows, not one to be the centre of attention. “But on the day, I was surprised that I was not at all nervous. The relief lifted as soon as I saw Nathan standing there at the top of the chapel,” she says.
A reception at InterContinental Sydney followed the ceremony, where the couple had large white flower centrepieces with black accents all tied together by a chandelier over the bridal table courtesy of Events by Nadia. The bride says family played a key role in making the day happen. “Our live band was made up of friends, the ceremony officiant was my father in-law. The wedding cake, invites and personalised favours were designed by my sisters. My sister and I also designed a monogram logo which was used right throughout the wedding.”

The bride wore a stunning off-shoulder gown from Luv Bridal & Formal.
“Whilst everything was kept traditional, we added an element of fun by playing the shoe game, having a puzzle guest book and wedding themed Mad Libs cards for guests,” recalls the bride.
“It was perfect, private and surreal,” Bianca recalls of Nathan’s proposal.
“My aim was a timeless and elegant wedding, and all the vendors helped me achieve that,” praises the bride.
