When it came to Bianca and Clinton’s modern romantic wedding, the more relaxed and non-traditional the better.
“We didn’t want to be bound by tradition but we didn’t want to lose it either. We kept the traditions we liked and left out the ones that didn’t appeal to us,” says the bride.
Bianca and Clint tied the knot alongside close family and friends at Mobile Barber Shop Depot in Bundall, Queensland. While a barber shop and cafe during the day, the unique, industrial-style space transforms by night into a venue for weddings and events.
The couple caught an Uber to their alternative wedding venue and wrote their own vows, Bianca’s bridesmaids held crystals instead of flower bouquets and guests were treated to a cocktail affair with delicious wood fire pizzas and a cake topped with gold Raptor dinosaur figurines complete with top hat and veil.
As for traditions they kept? “We kept the first dance and speeches. I love hearing beautiful words spoken – especially when they’re about us,” laughs the bride.

Bianca describes the aesthetic as moody, luxe, industrial, romantic, eclectic, alternative and relaxed.
Even the couple’s fur-child, Cash, was in attendance.
Bianca says the ceremony, complete with personalised vows, was a highlight. “We wanted our ceremony to be intimate and reflecting of Clint and I.”
“Mobile Barber Shop Depot has so much potential to create whatever style you like and the bar is BYO which is amazing and looks super cool,” says the bride. “We were blown away.”
