Maggie Impagnatiello and Andrew Chapman first met in primary school, about a decade later they ran into each other again at a party and sparks flew.
“We are not only partners for life but best friends,” Maggie, 26, explains.
After almost seven years together the Adelaide pair holidayed in Thailand, where Andrew, also 26, planned a romantic dinner and proposed.
The couple then had the difficult task of settling on a location – Maggie wanted to get married in a garden, while Andrew wanted beachside nuptials. In the end they reached an easy compromise.
“We decided to get married in the gardens at Cummins House and have a cocktail wedding reception in the upstairs function room at the Grange Hotel, which overlooks the beach,” Maggie says.
The couple said their I dos on January 10, 2015, in front of 90 family and friends and a couple of special guests, their dogs Harvey and Millie, who acted as ring bearers.
“We had such an amazing day and could not have been happier with how everything turned out,” Maggie says.
“We got to celebrate with our closest loved ones including our dogs which created a day we will cherish forever.”

Maggie’s gown from Bridal on Pulteney featured lace applique and a delicate, sheer V-backline.
Photographer Dan Evans recalls the torrential downpour the week of the wedding. “Literally, as soon as Maggie stepped out of the car, the clouds cleared and we had an absolutely fantastic day.”
