Congrats to this couple who have won a place in our 2019 Wedding of the Year comp!
They are in the running to win a luxury second honeymoon at Heritance Aarah Maldives.
Ebony and Daniel joined a mile high club of a different kind when Daniel popped the question at 30,000 feet.
“Just before we moved interstate together for the first time, he proposed to me mid flight to our new destination,” Ebony, 23, recalls.
“He organised with the flight crew and got down on one knee with the whole flight cheering on!”
She and Daniel chose The Apple Shed in Tasmania’s beautiful Huon Valley for their bohemian farm wedding on January 12, 2019.
“The venue was exactly what we dreamed of to say ‘I do’ at! So rustic and so much character that we didn’t have to add much,” Ebony says.
The rural location made for some spectacular photographs captured by Agape Media House.
“Our photographers were magical and we can’t stop obsessing over our pictures,” the bride says.
“The day was just perfect, stress free and laidback just how we wanted it to be. Just one big love party with our nearest and dearest.”

Bohemian touches like the macrame wedding arbour and rustic seating brought Ebony’s creative vision for the outdoor ceremony to life.
Ebony’s low-back gown from Grace Loves Lace perfectly matched the bohemian vibe.
The couple’s classic rings were sourced from Michael Hill.
The couple met through mutual friends about seven years ago.
