Normally Contiki tours are a space for holiday flings – but for Angie and Sean, their travel romance led to marriage!
The couple, aged 25 and 32, met while touring Europe and we inseparable after the first day. “As the tour was coming to an end, Sean promised he was going to visit – as I was from Perth and he was from Adelaide – but I didn’t think he actually would,” explains Angie. “Well, two weeks later, Sean was in Perth and that was the beginning of our long-distance relationship.”
They travelled to and fro for two years before settling in Adelaide and buying a home. Sean proposed in the beautiful Barossa Valley and they began planning their romantic elegant wedding. They celebrated on April 7, 2018 with 280 guests at Angie’s parents farm in Bindoon, WA.
“I had always dreamt of getting married there, ever since I was a little girl,” explains the bride. “Our ceremony was held in the gardens under our gazebo, which was surrounded by red roses and our reception was held on our tennis court, under the stars.”

The detail on the bride’s Steven Khalil lace gown was beyond!
The couple’s vintage transport was provided by So Cal Limos Perth.
The pair were married by Luke Firth under the bride’s parents’ gazebo.
“We tried to capture a romantic and elegant feel with a rustic touch,” Angie says of the style.
The bridal party was swathed in custom crimson evening gowns for the girls, and classic black tie by Peter Shearer Menswear for boys.
The farmland belonging to Angie’s parents provided many scenes for shots by James Simmons Photography. “The final photos are amazing!” praises Angie. “James really captured the essence of our day and all the colours.”
Angie and Sean had a six-tiered fondant cake to feed their 280 guests!
