High school sweethearts Amy and Ryan wed on June 4, 2018, at Ravensthorpe in New South Wales.
After Ryan, 26, popped the question in a romantic proposal in Venice, Italy, which involved locking Amy out of their hotel room and a yellow blown-glass balloon containing the engagement ring, the couple began to plan their vintage Hollywood wedding.
“I like to think we can be a little quirky and I love vintage styles so we really wanted our wedding to be a little vintage quirky, with lots of personal touches,” explains Amy, 25.
The outdoor ceremony under a gazebo was witnessed by ninety-five friends and family.
“We didn’t do anything that wasn’t ‘us’ or fun, it was our day completely and we were grinning and laughing the whole time! We love the fact that our fur baby walked me down the aisle and made that moment extra special.”

“A few short weeks before the wedding I happened to ask the lovely ladies helping my mum with her dress if they could source a cape for me and they did! Absolutely recommend Ferrari Bridal!” praises Amy.
The beautiful oval-cut diamond engagement ring is from Michael Hill Jeweller.
Bonanno’s Menswear provided the amazing red-velvet jacket suit for the groom.
Amanda La Monica created Amy’s vintage bridal look. “Amanda was so great with my hair and makeup! She worked with what I asked for and made me feel beautiful,” praises the bride.
Vintage Patina added a vintage flare to the day with decor pieces hired to the couple.
Davertainment provided music for the wedding and made sure everyone was having a good time.
