Part 1: Amelia & Michael’s chic QT Melbourne wedding

Before Amelia and Michael’s stunning  Bali beach wedding, they held a chic and intimate courthouse ceremony in Melbourne on 18 February 2024. Surrounded by 16 of their closest family and friends, they celebrated their union in a romantic setting perfectly suited for an elegant day.

The day began with a simple yet emotive ceremony at the local registry office in Melbourne. Following the official proceedings, the newlyweds and their guests moved to the QT Melbourne, known for its stylish interiors and excellent location, making it a seamless transition from the ceremony.

Amelia described the setting at the QT Melbourne: “The King room at QT was romantic, intimate, moody, and more. With mirrored walls, one long table, lots of candles, and moody lighting, it was exactly what we envisioned.”

The evening progressed, starting with pre-dinner drinks in the bar area. Guests then moved into the King private dining room for an intimate dinner. “It was the perfect flow to the night,” Amelia recalled. The celebration was not just about dining but also about creating an atmosphere where every guest felt part of a special family gathering.

The dinner was catered by the QT Melbourne, featuring a sharing style that encouraged interaction and conviviality among the guests. The menu included a variety of dishes designed to cater to all tastes: from pasture-fed rib eye and pan-seared snapper to rigatoncini with braised lamb ragu and a chicken ballotine with pancetta and creamed polenta. The sides were equally delicious, including Greek salad, fries with rosemary salt, and green beans with mushrooms.

Following dinner, the party continued with after-party drinks on the QT rooftop, offering spectacular views of Melbourne’s skyline.
