A teen crush between Amee Vogt and Mark Kardasz led to their dream wedding at Glen Ewin Estate.
The pair, both aged 22, were high-school sweethearts. “After meeting in high-school we made a pact that if neither of us were married by age 30, we would marry each other,” smiles Amee. Well, they didn’t have to wait that long, marrying at their Adelaide Hills wedding on January 30, 2016 in front of 145 guests.
They were engaged for four years before they said “I do”, as their parents wanted them to complete their university degrees first. So while they had to wait, the venue was always front of mind. “We’d always had our heart set on this venue since we first got engaged in 2011, and it did not disappoint,” praises Amee. “Although we had heavy rain the day before and were told we would have to get married in an alternate spot to the beautiful lawn in front of the lake, as planned, the staff were amazing and pulled out all the stops to make our dream a reality.”
The loved-up newlyweds honeymooned in Hawaii. “We love each other with a fire that will never stop burning, and I am the luckiest woman in the world,” beams the bride.

The bride and her whopping crew of seven bridesmaids (with the exception of one brides-mate) were dressed by Bridal on Pulteney.
The dashing groom found his attire at Ferrari Formalwear and Bridal.
“Our theme was pink, yellow and… pineapples,” says Amee. “I’m obsessed with them!”
