Belinda, 25 and Brendon, 34 met while running a kids’ club and were engaged after just seven months of dating.
The pair married at their rustic waterview wedding in the Hunter Wetlands in NSW, with a ceremony at Club Macquarie on December 8, 2018. “When planning our wedding, we wanted everything to be us,” explains the bride. “We wanted a simple but elegant wedding, which is what we got.”
Belinda says the wetlands were simply beautiful, and the day was blessed by perfect weather.
“Our colour schemes changed quite a lot during the planning phase, but after much research and Pinteresting we found the most perfect scheme,” smiles the bride. “I was a bit picky with our flowers, so decided to make my own bouquets using artificial (which many people questioned) but it meant they would last forever.”

Belinda made her own bouquets on the day, so they were just right.
A man and his best friend. Too cute!
Crab Apple Vintage helped with styling on the day.
“It was so perfect and ran exactly how we wanted,” recalls the bride of her special day.
“We were engaged for one year . I think this was a good amount of time, as it meant we could take our time and make sure we had everything we wanted,” says Belinda.
