Never in her dizziest daydreams did Meghan imagine she’d meet the man of her dreams – Joel – on Tinder.
“Me being the bubbly, social gal I thought I’d meet a gorgeous man by the bar, soft jazz flute playing in the background, he’d buy me a drink and the rest would be history … but instead I found my gorgeous man on Tinder,” laughs the bride.
Meghan and Joel, aged 30 and 32, tied the knot on September 15, 2018 at Loreto Normanhurst with a reception following at the Wisteria Room at Centennial Homestead, Sydney.
Fun, food and frivolity were top priorities, tells the bride. “Overall our main priorities were to keep it traditional but not stiff. We saw the day as a chance to express our love for one another in front of our nearest and dearest.”
The couple kept to their budget by creating decor elements themselves and with help from loved ones.
“Joel’s mother created 100 paper wisteria flowers, which become our central floral arrangements which tied so beautifully with our greenery chandeliers.”
