Kissing your future-husband’s friend sounds wrong – but not when you don’t know who your future husband is!
Lisa Pullos and Ben Everingham, aged 26 and 30 respectively, met in a nightclub when she had eyes for someone else. “I actually kissed his friend the night we met,” laughs Lisa. “Ben was at the beach the next day with his friend I was meeting so I introduced myself to him.” After Ben explained they had already met the night before, they hit it off and began dating not long after.
The Sunshine Coast couple later had two little girls, and Ben proposed when Lisa was pregnant with their second. “He got top marks for the ring he chose all by himself,” she says. They quickly began planning their garden wedding for September 9, 2015 with a ceremony at Maroochy Botanic Gardens and reception at The Lake House, Mountain Creek.
Lisa chose to surprise Ben with a special car, after they had decided they didn’t need one. “Ben is a surfer so the Noosa Woody Hire car was the perfect vehicle to surprise him with and he loved it,” explains Lisa.
The bride stressed the importance of choosing good suppliers for the big day. “We trusted all the suppliers to do their jobs and they all absolutely nailed it so we just focused on each other and enjoying the time with our family and friends,” says Lisa.
