We’re thrilled to share our new TV commercial with you. It was the result of many months’ work – and the efforts of so many people, including 14 of our very own suppliers, a number of staff, and even a few family members.
The ad was shot and storyboarded by the super talented team at Wedding Movies and the bride’s wedding dress comes from Anna Campbell’s sumptuous 2015 wedding gown collection.
Also featured are:
Nicolangela, who provided the bridesmaids’ and mother-of-the-bride’s beautiful dresses
Formal Red, who outfitted our dashing groom and page boy, who happen to be the son of Easy Weddings’ founders Matt and Katrina Butterworth
Bridie Bride Weddings, who was responsible for all the blooms throughout the commercial, including the mesmerising rain of petals at the end
Abfab Cakes, who whipped up every one of the mouth-watering wedding cakes featured during the cake tasting session
Lyrebird Falls, who provided our beautiful reception venue
Potters Receptions, where the all-important final ceremony scene was shot
Classic and Prestige Car Hire, whose car our bride drives in, in the first scene of the ad
Passion8 Photography, who not only shot the behind-the-scenes photos, but also appears as the wedding photographer in the ad
Magical Makeovers, who made-up and styled our lovely bride and her bridal party
David Schneider, who officiated our mock wedding ceremony
Jeanette Maree, whose stunning accessories adorn the bride and her bridesmaids
Princess Boutique, who dressed our oh-so-pretty flower girl, Emily, the daughter of Matt and Katrina Butterworth
“We had a blast shooting this TV commercial,” says Easy Weddings’ CEO Matt Butterworth.
“It was a lot of work, but the final result, we hope you agree, was worth it. The TVC will be playing across the main free to air stations beginning in January to help us introduce even more brides to our suppliers around the country and the EW team is looking forward to a big year with our brides and suppliers in 2016.”

“The irony of putting together a TV wedding was that we really learnt the value of working with top wedding professionals,” adds Matt “and just how important it is to have a great team to help you create the experience and ensure your wedding is stress-free and, therefore, even more enjoyable.
“Even if it is only a fake wedding!”
We’d really appreciate you sharing the ad on your own blogs and social media, and please tag us, too (#EasyWeddings)! After all, the more people see us, the more people see you!
