What do you do at Easy Weddings?

I am one of the Web Designers at Easy Weddings. I work with our industry professionals to design awesome websites for them that generate enquiries and result in more bookings! My time is mostly spent designing, building sites, and investigating emerging technologies that will enhance our clients’ businesses in a digital space.

What did you do before you joined Easy Weddings?

I worked in the tertiary education sector as a Graphic Designer before moving into the wedding industry. I worked closely with operation managers to develop marketing materials for restaurants, retail outlets, function centers and gym facilities.

The work I was doing covered a fair bit – from brand design and development, signage (buses, building signs, digital signs etc), web design and printed marketing campaigns, to digital media such as animation and AR.

What are the most common questions you get from suppliers?

The most frequently asked question I receive from suppliers is,‘What can I do to improve my conversion rate (enquiries) on my website?’

While the answer is different for each client (depending on their website), there are always new solutions to getting the most out of your online presence and we can always offer assistance in this matter.

What do you like best about working at EW and why?

I am lucky to work with a fantastic group of people – all adding their own unique style and personality to the mix – our office is anything but boring!

And to top it off I work in an ever-changing industry which keeps me busy, challenged and interested in what is yet to come.

What’s something fun we don’t know about you?

I’m pretty laid back in terms of my personal life. My time is best spent with close mates having a drink and a chat, bushwalking and weekends up visiting the family in Sydney. I live with a couple of good mates, 3 dogs, 1 cat, 20 birds, 8 lizards and I have no idea how many fish…. I’m contemplating registering as a Zoo and charging admission!
