Located near the entrance to the Royal Botanic Gardens, the Pioneer Women’s Memorial is one of the most beautiful garden wedding locations in Melbourne. The ‘T’ shaped canal, water feature, and tiled grotto are points of interest at this location, though the overall appeal is due to the well maintained flower beds and the intimate atmosphere this venue creates.

Due to its popularity, and to ensure the grounds are kept in perfect condition throughout the summer months, Melbourne Parks and Gardens have created limitations on guest numbers and hired equipment. Weighted umbrellas, food, and beverages are permitted. Rubbish removal is the responsibility of the client. Public toilets are located nearby on the gravel pathway towards Government House. Parking is available along Alexandra Avenue near the Swan Street Bridge.
