Situated on the Balmain foreshore, Elkington Park is Leichhardt’s most popular park for outdoor wedding ceremonies. The park features a 1936 band rotunda, ideal for a garden wedding in the sun (if weather permits). Boasting views from White Horse Point, and featuring the Dawn Fraser Baths, this location is a photographer’s dream.

Though receptions cannot be held in Elkington Park, wedding ceremonies and photographers are welcome. As a general rule, weddings over 100 people are not permitted. Chairs, marquees, and other structures may be permitted with prior approval by Council.
